Does the campsite ever flood?
No, we are situated above the river on a slight hill overlooking the town and river valley. We are on limestone brash which drains away very quickly. Do you allow contractors?

Do you allow open fires or firepits?
Sorry, no open fires or firepits at all due to fire regulations.
Is there fishing nearby?
Yes, both in the river and in a nearby lake – day tickets available.
Do you allow disposable barbeques?
Yes, providing they are on a stand. We provide stone slabs.
How many dogs do you allow?
Usually a maximum of two, otherwise by prior arrangement.
Are there pubs nearby?
We have a great selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants in and around Malmesbury.
Is the site wheelchair friendly?
Yes, it is a flat, level, grassy site with tarmac areas to and from the site.
Are there plenty of taxis in the town?
Yes, we have a good list of taxi firms.
Can I catch a local bus?
There is a bus stop opposite Arches Lane on the main road. There is a very regular service to Cirencester, Chippenham, Swindon and Bristol. Kemble railway station is 10 minutes away and connects to the main line for the more adventurous.
Do you have a fridge/freezer?
Yes we do and it is for campers. We ask for a contribution and give the money to local charities. We provide a freezer for ice packs.
Is there a swimming pool on site?
No, but there is a new leisure centre in the town.
